My
New Shop
at ArtYah.com!

These past several months have been very stressful as far as my Etsy shop goes.  With limited sales in my Etsy shop, I had to think about if I could keep going as a shop owner.  I was paying more for listing fees than I was making in sales and what used to be is no more.

Back in the day, if you listed or relisted items in your shop, you seemed to get sales.  That, however, is not the case any more.  Now, it seems if you do get a sale, you drop to the back of the pack and have to wait for a sale for several weeks.  I have had my shop graded and I have an "A" rating, so it's not that.  Maybe it's just because there are over 1.5 million shops to compete with.  I'm guessing that has a lot to do with it.

Anyway, I found another website which seems to fit me much better, and I have opened up a shop there.

My new shop is located at ArtYah.com.  It is a small start-up site and it's great to be part of what looks to be a very promising place to sell my cards.  There are lots of other sellers who have also joined and the site is growing by leaps and bounds every week.

Some of the many advantages of ArtYah are there are no listing fees.  For shop owners like myself who have almost 400 listings, this is a wonderful feature and very cost effective.  You are allowed up to 12 pictures for each listing and you also have the option to have your listing on the front page for a mere 50 cents as well as several other options.

The owner is fantastic and if you ask a question, you will get an immediate response from him.  He has been working tirelessly getting more updates and things that sellers are requesting and has been keeping his sellers in the loop as to what is happening.  Such a refreshing change.

I have already had my first sale on ArtYah and hope there are many more to come.

I am so pleased to be a part of this new adventure not only for myself but for ArtYah as well.  So, please go check this site out!  Many great items are available for sale!

June Update

During the month of June, I have been working on a new line of Christmas cards.  I hope to have these listed within the next couple of weeks.  I am very excited about them and they have challenged me in many aspects.  I have ventured into stamping and Copic coloring, which is very relaxing and I love creating these fun cards!

Here's a sneak peek at just a couple of them.
